Flowers of the Holy Land, 2004 This piece refers directly to current events in Israel-Palestine. Its ten flower images come from a small book of pressed wildflowers, produced in Palestine in the early twentieth century. These dried flowers have been scanned and computer manipulated to produce double images, connected and opposed (as earth and sky or root and plant). The flowers are the Israelis and Palestinians, their interconnected and differing histories, and their equal desire for justice. | |||||
